Before I head out on vacation, thought I would let you know what has been happening here at GMS this summer.  Normally, my last post says something like things are really quiet on campus and not much is going on.  How wrong could that be here at GMS.  All summer the Strength and Conditioning Camp has been happening.  After watching a few lift some weights, I think we are on the right competitive path for next year.

We also hosted our first of two transition camps for our incoming 5th graders.  I think they enjoyed getting to know each other, especially since they come from some many schools.  I even saw a few from my previous elementary school.   Due to bad weather, we are rescheduling the Parent Night for the week of August 3rd.

Mr. Montemayor hosted his Summer Rock-n-Roll Camp.  I could hear those guitars all the way in my office!

Our Tiger cheerleaders headed off to camp this week.  Thanks to all the parents for carpooling their daughters there.

I will be out of the office the week of June 29th and July 20th.  I will check emails occasionally if you need to get hold of me for something.  Otherwise, I'll see you when I return.
