The orchestra concert and awards ceremony was amazing.  The students have come such a long way.

New students were inducted to the National Junior Honors Society.  Interestingly, many of them were Duke Tips recipients too.

Hard to believe there are three days left.  Please helps us by reminding students that learning is still occurring and that all school rules need to be followed, even dress code.

Have a great long weekend.

Hard to believe we are counting down the last 7 days of school!  Remember that May 27th and 30th are student holidays. Hopefully you had a chance to visit the library book fair.

Mr. Piper's students enjoyed creating crates for their eggs.  They did a great job.  I didn't see any eggs bust!

If you need something to do tonight, the theater department is hosting their annual Dinner Theater Show.

Next week is a busy week.  A great way to keep up is to look at the calendar or the daily student announcements on the website

Gorzycki did awesome in track this year.  Both 7th & 8th grade girls and 7th grade boys placed first in the South West zone.  Way to go Tigers!

The orchestra students also did great and got 1st division!  Keep up the great playing.

Today was our last PAWS for Fun day!  I definitely think this will be a tradition that is carried on in the future.  Students seemed to really enjoy the free time.

As I walked classes today, I was entertained by the boys choir class.
Stay dry and have a great weekend.

This was the last week prior to a week of STAAR testing.  Teachers have been busy reviewing information so that all students are ready.  Because it is a week of testing, no visitors are allowed on campus.  We are requesting that students bring sack lunches Monday and Tuesday, since lunches are being combined and the lunch lines might be extra long.

We also celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week.  Each day our wonderful teachers were rewarded with an awesome treat.  The students also did a great job showing their appreciation.  Thank you to everyone that helped.

Enjoy the weekend and celebrating Moms everywhere.
